I am a painter, based in Venice beach California and London, UK. I specialize in portraiture. I have a talent for capturing the essense of people and animals. My pet portraits are contemporary, clean and not kitch at all. I pride myself on capturing the character and integrity of the animal.  

 

If you would like to commission a painting of your pet please start by sending 3 or 4 photos and a short description of your pet's character to the email address at the bottom of this page. Then we will choose one together and I can make a start on the painting. Paintings take me anywhere between 1 - 3 weeks, depending on my waiting list. I will send you a photo of the painting in progress at around the half way through stage, so that you can give your feedback and also help choose a background color.

My colour portraits are abstract representations of the human spirit.

These are the colours I see within a person. I see them like ripples on the surface of water radiating outward from within a person. The inner most colour being what they hold at their center and the outer ring of colour, the one they show the world.

The circle is significant as it is what everything is made up of, the molecule, the planet. It also represents the simplicity of colour and shape, the end of the complication of thought and words, a full stop at the end of a sentence.
